Windancer Holdings is an investment firm focused on active, high conviction investing with flexible, long-term permanent capital. We evaluate public and private investments on an opportunistic and unconstrained basis.
Windancer Holdings is driven by the experience, expertise and entrepreneurship of Larry Connor – an American real estate and technology entrepreneur. He is the Founder and Managing Partner of The Connor Group, a real estate investment firm based in Dayton, Ohio.
In 1992, The Connor Group consisted of one investor and $400,000 of seed funding to buy three apartment communities in Dayton, Ohio. Today, The Connor Group has more than 1,300 investors, $5 billion in assets and operates in 18 markets across the country.

Shane Connor

Shane Connnor
Managing Partner
As Managing Partner, Shane works with the Windancer team to evaluate investments and leads the overall strategy and operations of the firm. Prior to Windancer, Shane held investment roles at multi-billion dollar public and private equity investment funds. Shane is a Chartered Financial Analyst and received his degree in Finance from The Ohio State University. Shane moved back to his hometown of Dayton, Ohio with his family in 2018.

As Director of Investments, David leads the investment team and evaluates direct public and private investments as well as partnerships with other firms. Prior to Windancer, David ran his own investment partnership, co-founded an investment management firm, and was a portfolio manager and equity analyst at a multi-billion dollar investment boutique specializing in small and mid-cap growth equities. David graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in 2002 with a double major in Financial Economics and Political Science. David is from Minnesota and now resides in Cincinnati, Ohio with his family.

Chris is primarily responsible for developing relationships and cultivating opportunities for the firm’s Long-Term Capital Partnerships program. He also supports the firm’s deal execution and post-close collaboration processes. He spent seven years as a private equity investor following a year in investment banking. He graduated from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. Outside the office, Chris enjoys golfing, watching sports, exercising, reading and spending time with family and friends.

As Chief Financial Officer, Kyle is responsible for the oversight of the finance, accounting, and operations needs of the firm. He also supports the institution’s investment and trade execution and third-party collaboration processes, as well as legal and compliance oversight. Prior to Windancer, Kyle held various corporate finance roles for a real estate investment firm, following a few years in investment banking. He graduated from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University with a double major in Accounting and Finance and minor in Economics. Kyle grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana and now resides in Dayton, Ohio with his family.

Our philanthropic efforts are in conjunction with The Connor Group Kids and Community Partners Foundation, which has invested roughly $100 million since 2016 and plans to invest roughly $750 million over the next decade.
